Court structure

The administrative court system is generally structured in three tiers. The six administrative courts in Bavaria (Ansbach, Augsburg, Bayreuth, Munich, Regensburg and Würzburg), and the Higher Administrative Court of Bavaria are courts of the federal states and form the first two instances. The highest administrative court in Germany is the Federal Administrative Court, which is based in Leipzig.
